Bronze, impressed "2257" on the edge, 34 mm, original second style ribbon with brooch pinback, oxidation spot on the obverse, very light contact, extremely fine. In its cardboard box of issue, "SAMUEL EARLE EBY CO. Philadelphia, Pa." maker's label on the end panel, tear evident in one corner on the lid, scuffed on the bottom, box very fine. (C:76)
