WILSON" on the reverse, 34.7 mm x 42.8 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback); First World War Victory Medal, 2 Clasps - DEFENSIVE SECTOR, CHAMPAGNE-MARNE (bronze, 36.2 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback); Pennsylvania National Guard Mexican Border Service Medal (bronze, number impressed "1898" on the edge, 34.8 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback); Pennsylvania National Guard First World War Service Medal (bronze, 35, original ribbon with brooch pinback); and Huntingdon, Pennsylvania Mexican Border Service Commemorative Medal (bronze, obverse illustrating the Pennsylvania coat-of-arms framed by oak leaves at the left and laurel leaves at the right, reverse inscribed "PRESENTED BY THE CITIZENS OF HUNTINGDON, PA. TO CO. F. 8th REG'T. N.G.P. 1916-1917 FOR MEXICAN BORDER SERVICE" and maker marked "W & H CO NEWARK, N.J. (Whitehead & Hoag, Newark, New Jersey), 38.5 mm x 40 mm, suspended from a 9.8 mm x 38.5 mm pinback hanger engraved "J.S. WILSON." and inscribed "FOR MEXICAN BORDER SERVICE"). Un-mounted, green oxidation evident on the two Pennsylvania National Guard medals, very light contact, near extremely fine.
