Obverse centre medallion of two gold men shaking hands with blue enamel sky encircled with “Daughters of the Founders & Patriots of America 1607-1898”. Red Stars in each quadrant. Reverse in gold with white and red enamel, bearing “Henrietta Furlong” at 9 o’clock and “Vaughn 2476” at 3 o’clock. Measuring 39.53mm (w) x 42.02mm (h) (from top of ball suspension) and weighing at 11.9 grams.

All female members must have a direct connection from an ‘unbroken paternal line from either parent’ to a relative who lived in 13 colonies prior to May 13, 1687 and also must have a relative in this familial line who assisted the colonies in their fight for independence.
