What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Second War American Aviator's Miniature Medal Bar; Silver Star (bronze gilt with an overlaying silver star in the center, 17.2 mm x 17.5 mm); Legion of Merit, Legionnaire Grade (bronze gilt and enamels, 22.7 mm x 24 mm, with "V" Device and three Gold Stars on the ribbon); Distinguished Flying Cross (blackened bronze, maker marked "NS MEYER INC. NEW YORK" on the reverse, 20.3 mm, with one Gold Star on the ribbon); Bronze Star (bronze gilt, 18 mm x 18.6 mm, with "V" Device on the ribbon); Air Medal (bronze gilt, 22 mm, with one Silver and four Gold Stars on the ribbon; and Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (bronze gilt, 17.7 mm x 20 mm, with "V" Device and one Gold Star on the ribbon). Mounted to a suspension with dual push pins on the reverse, original ribbons, extremely fine.
