What's a max bid?

United States; Includes eight pieces: Cattaraugus 225 Q Commando Knife (AKA Quartermaster Knife) (nickel-plated magnetic steel blade, short fullers on both sides, marked "Cattaraugus 225 Q" on the ricasso, exhibiting beautiful crossgraining, with a sharp edge and a dull tip, with the expected contact marks but limited surface wear, the blade measuring 154 mm in length x 4.5 mm thick and inset into a steel plate, finished with a wooden handle and a checkered steel butt cap, the knife measuring 269 mm in length, accompanied by its dark brown leather left-handed sheath, the pocket of the sheath secured in place via seven rivets and heavy stitching, with a 26.5 mm (w) x 34.5 mm (h) China-Burma-India Theater insignia in silvered bullion wire in various textures, along with red and blue embroidery, on a navy blue wool base stitched in place, hand scratched with the inscription "CHINA BURMA INDIA 1944" beside the insignia, the belt loop with two long brown shoelaces tied in place at the top, the sheath measuring 60 mm in width x 295 mm in length, exhibiting age wear in the leather); Cigarette Case (silvered metal, both covers engraved in red, white, green, yellow and black inks, featuring a map of the Indian and Burmese theaters, with a circular inset illustrating the Taj Mahal on the map of India, the China-Burma-India Theater insignia at the upper right and two egrets standing in the water at the lower right, both inside covers with their original elastic restraining straps and stamped "811", hinged along the back edge, push closure, 100.5 mm (w) x 80 mm (h) x 17 mm (d)); three China-Burma-India Theater Patches (the first patch is composed of two blue pieces and three red pieces in suede leather, sewn upon a white leather base, with a smooth-finished brown leather border, 80 mm (w) x 108 mm (h); the second patch is composed of silvered bullion wire in various textures, along with red and blue embroidery, on a navy blue wool base, white cotton mesh backer, 63 mm (w) x 85 mm (h); the third patch is composed of red, white, light blue, royal blue and olive green embroidery, 65 mm (w) x 88 mm (h)); and two Pins (both are bronze with red, white and blue enamels and are unmarked; one is convex with the vertically stacked letters "CBI", 22 mm (w) x 25 mm (h) with a vertical pinback; the other is flat and without lettering, 23.5 mm (w) x 26.5 mm with a horizontal pinback). Extremely fine.
