In bronze, number impressed "M. No. 392" on the edge, measuring 33 mm in diameter, on second style ribbon with brooch pinback, very light contact, near extremely fine. Accompanied by his Funeral Notice Card (printed in black ink, on an off-white card stock, with personalized inscriptions in blue ink, measuring 127 mm (w) x 88 mm (h)).
Footnote: Private Daniel D. Handlin was born on January 14, 1842 in Albany, New York. He served as a Private with Company B, 106th Infantry Regiment, Illinois Volunteers during the Civil War and was mustered out as a Private on July 12, 1865. He died at his home in Lake Fork, Illinois on July 11, 1924, at the age of 82.
