What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A July 5th 1944 Issue of “The Stars and Stripes”

An issue of “The Stars and Stripes”, the “Daily Newspaper of U.S. Armed Forces in the European Theater of Operations”. 4 pages, they measure 307x450mm, very fine condition with folding creases, fraying around the edges, and a few tears. This issue is volume 4, no. 209, from July 5, 1944. Most of the articles are about U.S. operations in France in the wake of D-Day. The newspaper exists to this day.
