What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

United States; Bronze gilt with red, white, blue and green enamels, 44.8 mm x 46.7 mm, original ribbon with brooch pinback, intact enamels, exhibiting scattered gilt wear and green oxidation, near extremely fine. Accompanied by its 13 mm x 35.5 mm ribbon bar with pinback and marked "STERLING SILVER on the reverse, along with two 4.5 mm x 17.5 mm enamelled ribbon bars, one with a screwback, the other with a button hole attachment, in their hardshelled case of issue, marked "LEGION OF MERIT" above "LEGIONNAIRE" on the lid, hinge slightly askew, case also near extremely fine.(C:76)
