What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

United States. A Military Brass Bugle

Fabricated from brass, the mouthpiece independent of the receiver on the mouthpipe, with a loop affixed to the mouthpiece that is attached to a multi-link brass chain, itself connected to a ring appearing on the side of the smaller tube of the bugle. The body of the bugle is composed of two tubes, a larger one fitted to a bell tube and finished with large bell at one end, the large tube connected to a smaller tube via a 32 mm long coupling, both the larger and small tubes are wrapped in a 5 mm wide carob brown cord, with both ends of the cord finished with very large tassels. The bugle weighs .5 kilogram and measures 115 mm at the mouth of the bell x 290 mm in length x 160 mm in height, exhibiting dents along the tubing from active use, with a very pronounced one on the large tube at the mouthpiece end, along with scattered contact marks. Fine.
