Composed of of a navy blue silk field folded over vertically to form two sides, with brightly-colored embroidered designs on the front side, one end with red, white, blue and orange embroidery, bearing the China Burma India Theater insignia, the CBI insignia backed by the crossed flags of the Republic of China and the United States on flagpoles, inscribed " CHINA BURMA INDIA" above and "CHINA 1945" below, the other end with a large feisty dragon in orange, white, red, pink, green and black embroidery, measuring 160 mm (w) x 1,280 (h), with a 95 mm long fringe in fine navy blue threading sewn in place at either end, the stitching along the vertical seam coming away in a few locations, the banner very clean and without interruptions in the embroidered pieces, near extremely fine.
