Two-piece construction, oval-shaped, silver with red, white and blue enameled shield, affixed to a silver base, obverse illustrating the China-Burma-India Theater (CBI) shield, impressed "CHINA" at the left, "BURMA" below, "INDIA" at the right and "1943" above, with intricately engraved borders and designs, reverse marked "VAK", measuring 44 mm (w) x 30.2 mm (h), dark patina, chipping evident in the blue enamels on the shield, missing its loops on either side, fine.
