What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

Includes: five United States Air Force and Army Presidential Unit Citations (original ribbon within a gilt metal frame, one is bearing an Oak Leaf Cluster and is unmarked, two are maker marked "S-21", two are maker marked "D22", measuring 36 mm (w) x 15.5 mm (h) each, the first citation with a pinback, the other four citations with dual push pin points intact); United States Navy and Marine Corps Presidential Unit Citation (original ribbon wrapped around a metal frame and maker marked "S-21", measuring 36 mm (w) x 10.5 mm (h), dual push pin points intact); Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, Large Version (original ribbon within a gilt metal frame, one is maker marked "G23", one is maker marked "N.S. MEYER M-22", measuring 36.5 mm (w) x 15.5 mm (h), dual push pins); and Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation, Small Version (original ribbon within a gilt metal frame, one is maker marked "S-21", one is maker marked "S-26 GI", measuring 37 mm (w) x 12.5 mm (h) each, dual push pins).
