What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

The underside of the collar with a strap stitched in place on the left side, the strap affixed to a chocolate brown button, while the right side has two chocolate brown plastic buttons stitched in place. There is a Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 263 "Thunder Chickens" (HMM-263 "Gopher Broke") patch in orange, blue, brown, black and yellow embroidery, measuring 90 mm in diameter, stitched in place on the right breast, while the left breast has a 97 mm (w) x 53 mm (h) black leather name patch stitched in place, the patch stamped in gold-colored ink with the United States Marine Corps insignia, above the inscription "A.F. The front incorporates a full-length zipper, the zipper's slider with a copper pull tab and a thin black leather strap affixed, the underlying weather flap with the capital letters "U.S.N." (United States Navy) inscribed via a series of punched holes forming the letters. There are large pockets stitched in place on either side at the waist, each pocket bearing a chocolate brown plastic button, and when fed through the slot on the flap, secures the flap in place. The full-length waistband and both sleeve cuffs are fabricated from an elasticized chocolate brown nylon/wool blend. The interior is lined in a chocolate brown nylon, with a side-entry pocket placed just inside the opening on the left side with a brown-finished brass snap closure. There is a label sewn in place in the collar inscribed "JACKET, FLYING, MEN'S / INTERMEDIATE, TYPE G-1 / MIL-J-7823D (WP) / 8415-268-7802 / STAR SPORTSWEAR MFG. CO. / USA100-69-C-0475 / SIZE 46" (the MIL-J-7823D (WP) military specification under which the naval flight jackets were fabricated was established in 1966).
