A very well-preserved edition of “Southern Derringers of the Mississippi Valley”, by Turner Kirkland. It is constructed of a light card stock binding, with the exterior cover bearing a black-and-white photograph of two Derringer pistols, circumscribed by title and author. The interior content consists of 80 white paper pages featuring an extensive study of Derringer pistols, broken down by model, and supplemented by black-and-white photographs. It was published by Kirkland in Union City, Tennessee. The book measures 138 mm (w) x 216 mm (h). Some discolouration is evident, but it is in an otherwise near extremely fine condition.
