TOSTRUP OSLO 750, measures 60.9mm (w) x 88.2mm (h – inclusive of cross adorned crown suspension), weighs 36.3 grams, enamels intact, minimal wear, in near mint condition. The breast star, in silver, an eight point star with clusters of faceted rays, the obverse medallion features a white Maltese Cross with ball finals, and crowned monograms of St. Olav in each quadrant, the central medallion in Gold features a rampant lion on a red enamel field, with rings of white, blue, and white enamel, the reverse presents a single pin assembly with the makers cartouche of J. TOSTRUP KRISTIANIA, the star measures 79.8mm (w) x 79.7mm (h), weighs 69.5 grams, enamels intact, lovely patina, in near mint condition.
Accompanied by a full-length sash badge and a boutonniere pin featuring a rosette with golden ribbon base both in extremely fine condition.
Contained in an original case of issue, a brown leatherette exterior marked DEN KGL. NORSKE St. OLAVS ORDEN, the interior silk lid is marked TOSTRUP 1832, with a removable red velvet recessed medalbed and storage component below for the sash, measures 128mm (w) x 230mm (l) x 56mm (d), two buttons at the front for closure, very minor wear, in better than extremely fine condition.
