Prussia. A Mail-Order Iron Cross 1914 Commemorative Pocket Watch of The German Journal

(Eiserne Kreuz Uhr - Deutsches Journal). The case of this watch is crafted of polished silver, with a nickel-silver crown, and a matching silver loop attached to the stem of the watch for suspension from a short silver chain featuring an Iron Cross medallion pendant. The dial is white, with roman numerals from one to twelve, with an Iron Cross depicted on the watch, with two black hands and 60 one-minute ticks. It measures 45 mm in diameter, 55 mm with its crown. It is accompanied by its original cardboard box of issue, measuring 58 mm (w) x 78 mm (h); a non-functioning example; in overall very fine condition.
