Prussia, Kingdom. A Customized Cigar Case for a Recipient of the Order of the Red Eagle

A unique and unusual cigar case to a recipient of the Prussian Order of the Red Eagle, constructed of a scalloped silver frame with dark brown leather centrepieces, one side of which features a silver aluminum and gold bullion wire PRussian imperial eagle set within an oak leaf wreath, the opposite side features a central monogram surrounded by arabesque designs of identical construction, the interior featuring retractable flaps constructed of brown leather and white rayon, one featuring a Prussian Order of the Red Eagle constructed of silver aluminum wire with machine embroidery, while the opposite side featuring an epaulet and sword similarly constructed of silver aluminum wire with machine embroidery, closing with a functional swivel hinge and clasp, unmarked, measuring 154 mm (w) x 85 mm (h), with minor material fatigue evident, a unique and high-quality case in near extremely fine condition.
