(Wilhelm König von Preussen & Augusta Victoria Ehejubiläumsmedaille im Etui). A round silver medal; the obverse depicting the rightward facing busts of Wilhelm and Auguste, circumscribed by his name and title; the reverse inscribed “Zum Ehejubiläum - Seid Fröhlich in Hoffnung, Geduldig in Trübsal, Haltet an am Gebet” (German - For the Jubilee - Be cheerful in hope, patient in misery, and pray regularly) in capital lettering; measuring 45.14 mm in diameter; weighing 50.6 grams. Accompanied by its case of issue; constructed of heavy pressed cardstock with a lightly textured faux leather (leatherette) exterior; the exterior of the lid embossed with the royal monogram in gold; with a lined interior lid, recessed medal bed, functional spring catch with stud release, and functional dual exterior metal hinges; measuring 82 mm (w) x 80 mm (h); in overall extremely fine condition.
