A well-preserved edition of “Canada’s Guns: An Illustrated History of Artillery”, by Leslie W. C. S. Barnes. It is constructed of a light card stock binding, with the exterior cover bearing a photograph of a fixed artillery emplacement, topped by author and title. The reverse features a description of the book’s contents, as well as a brief biography of the author. The interior contents consists of 112 paper stock pages featuring black-and-white images of various artillery pieces, with brief descriptions of their functioning and significance. It was published in 1979 by the Canadian War Museum of Ottawa. The book measures 215 mm (w) x 254 mm (h). Minor material fatigue is evident, but the book is in an overall better than very fine condition.
