An extremely well-preserved edition of “Canadians in Khaki: South Africa 1899-1900”, by Eugene Ursual. The book is constructed of a glossed card stock binding, with the cover page depicting an illustration of British Empire troops advancing, circumscribed by the title, while the reverse bears an advertisement for the author’s militaria service. The interior content consists of 127 white paper stock pages with complete lists of Canadian personnel deployed for service in the Second Boer War, including casualties. It is supplemented by sketches of notable Canadian figures associated with the conflict. Notably, the interior title page features an autograph and dedication from Eugene Ursual. It was published in 1994 and printed by Hignell Printing Ltd. The book measures 142 mm (w) x 216 mm (h), and is in an overall extremely fine condition.
