Angolia, including “On the Field of Honor: A History of the Knight’s Cross Bearers (Volume 1)”, constructed of a card stock binding with 287 paginated interior pages, the cover bearing a full-colour illustration of legendary Stuka ace Hans-Ulrich Rudel, with the interior content featuring brief biographies of hundreds of recipients of the Knight’s Cross and its higher grades, supplemented by black-and-white photographs, published in 1979 by Roger James Bender, measuring 160 mm (w) x 235 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; “On the Field of Honor: A History of the Knight’s Cross Bearers (Volume 2)”, constructed of a card stock binding with 368 paginated interior pages, similarly featuring brief biographies of hundreds of recipients of the Knight’s Cross and its higher grades, supplemented by black-and-white photographs, published in 1980 by Roger James Bender, the interior of the cover bearing a previous owner’s bookplate, measuring 160 mm (w) x 235 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; “Cloth Insignia of the SS”, authored by Angolia with assistance from Stan Cook, constructed of a card stock binding with 480 paginated interior pages, the interior content featuring detailed featuring detailed examinations of the collar tabs, shoulder boards, cuff titles, and sleeve and breast insignia of the various branches of the SS, supplemented by a wide array of black-and-white illustrations and photographs, published in 1983 by R. James Bender Publishing, San Jose, California, featuring Angolia’s handwritten autograph and issue number 437 of an initial print of 500 copies, measuring 160 mm (w) x 235 mm (h), with some exterior material fatigue evident in addition to minor page creasing, in near extremely fine condition.
