An extremely well-preserved edition of “Scottish Firearms”, part of Historical Arms Series 31, by Claude Blair and Robert Woosnam-Savage. It is constructed of a light card stock binding, with the cover bearing a black-and-white photograph of a flintlock pistol, flanked by author and title, and the reverse featuring a list of other works available from Arms Collecting as part of its Historical Arms Series. The interior content consists of 52 white paper pages featuring a detailed history of Scottish pistols and rifles, supplemented by 63 black-and-white photographs. It was published in 1994 by Museum Restoration Service, with a reprinting in 1999. The book measures 174 mm (w) x 255 mm (h) and is in an overall extremely fine condition.
