“The British Service Lee: Lee-Metford and Lee-Enfield Rifles and Carbines, 1880-1980”, by Ian D. Skennerton. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding and retains its original paper stock dust jacket, with the exterior of the cover bearing a colour image of a Lee-Enfield rifle, circumscribed by author and title. The interior content consists of 410 paper pages featuring an exceptionally detailed study of Lee-Enfield and Lee-Metford rifles, including regional variations, supplemented by black-and-white photographs and sketches of model marks. It was self-published by Skennerton and Arms and Armour Press in 1982. The book measures 215 mm (w) x 275 (h). Some material fatigue is evident, but the book is in an overall better than very fine condition.
