A well-preserved edition of “The Queen’s Guards”, by Henry Legge-Bourke. It is constructed of a heavy card stock binding and retains its original glossed paper stock dust jacket, with the exterior obverse bearing a full-colour photograph of a member of the Queen’s Horse Guard, flanked by author and title. The interior content consists of 158 glossed white paper pages featuring a detailed history of the various guards regiments, supplemented by an extensive array of both colour and black-and-white photographs. It was published in 1965 by Macdonald & Co. of London, United Kingdom. The book measures 222 mm (W) x 285 mm (h). Material fatigue and tearing is evident to the dust jacket, and the book is in an overall very fine condition.
