Page two features a view of the Upper Water Shops, Springfield Armory in 1830, the book itself divided into eight chapters, containing 176 pages of text, multiple charts and drawings, along with incorporating twenty-six photographic plates, printed in black ink on a white semi-gloss paper stock, measuring 217 mm (w) x 283 mm (h) x 14 mm (h). The exterior exhibiting foxing on the top edges of the pages, otherwise, near extremely fine.
