What's a max bid?

Hardcover, front cover illustrating the Grand Cross Set of the Order of the Cross of Liberty, entitled "KUNNIAMERKKIKIRJA", by Juha E. Tetri, the front cover design by Heikki Kalliomaa, published by the Ajatus Publishing Company of Helsinki, printed in Saarijärven in 1994, ISBN 951-9440-23-2. It documents the various orders, medals, decorations, badges and other items issued in Finland, by the Government (state issues), the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Transport, the Voluntary National Defence Associations, Units of Defence Forces, Civil Organizations, among others. It also includes the multitude of commemorative crosses and medals issued for the Liberty War, the Winter War and the Continuation War. The Finnish awards are featured, but the book also includes higher end awards issued by Great Britain, Canada, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Hungary and Italy, along with ribbons used for the various United Nations Peacekeeping Missions, in addition to the assortment of awards issued to General Paavo Talvela. The text is predominantly in Finnish, however, there are two sections written in English: "English Summary" by the author (pages 202-202) and "The Illustrations" (pages 203-213, which provides a list of all the items appearing in the colour plates in the book under eighty-six key points). The book concludes with a Sources and Bibliography. The book contains 224 pages of text and photographs, the text printed in black ink, incorporating twenty-four pages of colour plates inserted at three locations (pages 33-40, 97-104, 161-168), with a few line drawings placed throughout the book which illustrate some awards, designating their proper wearing and various collar badges, on a white satin-finished paper stock, measuring 213 mm (w) x 303 mm (h) x 21 mm (d). Near extremely fine.
