It begins with an Acknowledgements, followed by an Introduction and a List of Definitions. The book is divided into eleven chapters: 1. Imperial Orders (including, Bokhara and Georgia); 2. Regulations for Wearing Orders, Decorations and Medals of the USSR (as of 1979). It concludes with a Bibliography and a two page Index. The book contains 168 pages, the text printed in black ink, with most of the images in black, although there are a few pages with colour images of higher end awards scattered throughout the book, on a coated white paper stock, measuring 220 mm (w) x 285 mm (h) x 16.5 mm (d). It exhibits soiling on the inside front and back covers and their endpapers, along with pages 159-160, the remaining pages unaffected. Better than very fine.
