It begins with an Introduction, followed by a Table of Contents. The magazine-style publication is divided into three basic parts: I - The War at Sea; II - The War on Land; III - The War in the Air. It illustrates the various weapons of war, including an assortment of ships, land vehicles and aircraft used by both the Allies and the Germans, complemented by descriptive text and a few action shots. The publication contains 96 pages printed in four-inks, using stark backgrounds to highlight the black and white illustrations throughout, on a thick white paper stock, stamped in black ink with the previous owner's name "Don Chapman / St. John's School / Elora Ontario" on the inside cover endpaper, the previous owner's name "Don C. Chapman" handwritten in blue ink on page 3, card cover, perfect-bound, measuring 218 (w) x 272 mm (h) x 8 mm (d), the cover exhibiting wear, sunning and light soiling, along with wear, in addition to a piece missing and clear tape repair on the spine, the pages within unaffected.
