What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

Buyer's Premium

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

1. two III Class Bronze Grade Crosses of the Order of the Queen Marie Cross (Ordinul "Crucea Regina Maria"). Instituted in1917. In bronze, measuring 40 mm (w) x 40.5 mm (h) each, both with a large loop.

2. King Carol I Fortieth Jubilee Medal 1866-1906 (Medalla Jubilara Carol I). Instituted in 1906: in silver, engraver marked "P. TELGE" on the obverse, measuring 29.8 mm (w) x 41 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring. and one People's Republic award:

Order of the 23rd of August (Ordinul din 23 august): three-piece construction, RPR insignia in silvered bronze with red, blue, yellow, orange, green, light blue and dark blue enamels, mounted to a ten-pointed silvered bronze base, inscribed "23 AUGUST" on the reverse, measuring 43 mm (w) x 44.7 mm (h), intact enamels, scattered silvering wear.
