A silver badge consisting of a silver sunburst design culminating in a central yellow enamel disc, with a red enamel banner waving along the bottom half, a silver gilt emblem on top of the ribbon featuring a laurel wreath, wheat, and the hammer and sickle emblem, with the inscription RPR (Romanian People’s Republic) in a red enamel banner, reverse presents a single vertical pin assembly, pin impressed ‘6’, measures 44.04mm (w) x 45.90mm (h), weighs 38.8grams, enamels fully intact, light contact marks, very fine condition.
Accompanied by a small ribbon bar with plastic covering, measures 24mm (w) x 10.12mm (h), pin on reverse, and it’s original hard shell case of issue, orange leatherette reptile-design exterior impressed ORDINUL MUNCII CL.II, crème coloured velvet interior with indented medalbed for decoration and ribbon bar, metal clips inserted to hold pin, measures 86.17mm (w) x 107.61mm (h) x 30.05mm (d), hinge and catch in working order, green mark on interior lid, both very fine condition.
