A lot of four graduation badges, including a Ural Polytechnic Institute badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, with a central silvered depiction of the main campus in Ekaterinburg, above Cyrillic initials “УПИ”, topped by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР ЛЕНИНГРАДСКИЙ” for the Leningrad Mint, measuring 24.26 mm (w) x 53.72 mm (h), minor flecking of enamels evident, in overall extremely fine condition; a Kazan Chemical-Technological Institute badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, with central Cyrillic initials ”КХТИ”, topped by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, above an inscription of “ИМЕНИ С.М. КИРОВА” (“IN THE NAME OF S.M. KIROV”), the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР ЛЕНИНГРАДСКИЙ” for the Leningrad Mint, measuring 27.50 mm (w) x 48.78 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, with central gilt Cyrillic initials “МИХМ”, topped by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, above gilt crossed hammers, the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 26.20 mm (w) x 50.28 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Lensoviet Leningrad Institute of Technology badge, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a blue enameled diamond within a white enameled border, overlaid by gilt Cyrillic initials “ТИ”, topped by a gilt Soviet coat of arms, above a banner bearing an inscription of “ИМИНИ ЛЕНСОВЕТА” (“IN THE NAME OF LENSOVIET”), the reverse with a screw and backplate, maker marked “МОНЕТНЫЙ ДВОР” for the State Mint, measuring 27.49 mm (w) x 48.04 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
