A Saxe-Meiningen Honour Cross for Merit in the War of 1914/15 to Leutnant of the reserve in 1st Battalion of 2nd Thuringian Infantry Regiment No. 32, Ernst Erb, merchant from Niederschmalkalden, awarded by Duchess Charlotte. Dated to 22 April 1915. Measuring 211 mm (w) x 329 mm (h), presenting multiple folding creases and minimal scuffing of the edges, remains near very fine.
