(Gedenkmedaille). A metal cross, the centre obverse features a soldier holding the regimental banner, surrounded by the inscription 200 JÄGRIGES JUBILÄUM DES KGL. SÄCHS.4.INFT.RGT (200 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL SAXON 4TH INFANTRY REGIMENT), the 12 o’clock arm bears the names JICIN and NOUART, the 6 o’clock arm bears the names SEDAN and PARIS, the 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock arms present the years 1709 and 1909 respectively, the reverse centre maker marked DESCHLER U. SOHN MÜNCHEN, measuring 45.29 mm (w) x 70.02 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period original triangular ribbon on a horizontal pinback, and in overall near very fine condition.
