What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

(Estrela por combate del Tarapaca). Instituted in 1880. In silver with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 40.8 mm (w) x 42.2 mm (h), chipping evident in the blue enamels on the obverse centrpiece ring and on the reverse centrepiece, along with the red enamels on the reverse centrepiece ring, light contact overall, replacement ribbon suspended from its hanger with pinback, fine.

 

Footnote: The Star for the War of the Pacific was instituted on September 1, 1880, the II Class version awarded to junior officers, NCO's and enlisted men. The War of the Pacific pitted Chile against the combined forces of Bolivia and Peru.
