A Grand Cross Set, the badge in silver gilt consisting of a blue enamelled Maltese Cross with ball finials, the obverse medallion features a ribbon with the inscription SUB UMBRA FLOREO (Flourish in the Shade) encircled by a wreath on the silver gilt field, surrounded by a red enamelled ring, the reverse medallion features the Belize coat of arms in a red enamelled ring, suspended by a floral petal in the knee of the 12 o'clock arm, measures 57.6mm (w) x 61mm (h - inclusive of integral loop), attached to full length sash, weighs 124.5 grams, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition. Accompanied by the Breast Star of the Order, a silver eight point star with clusters of five faceted rays, the superimposed medallion features a silver gilt blue enamelled Maltese Cross with ball finials, the obverse center features the Belize coat of arms encircled by a red enamelled ring, the reverse center is of silver gilt and presents the inscription SUB UMBRA FLOREO on a banner, a single vertical pin assembly, marked 925, the star measures 85.3mm (w) x 85.2mm (h), weighs 91.3 grams, enamels intact, lovely patina, in extremely fine condition. Accompanied by a miniature of the order bearing the same design as the star on a thin ribbon, measures 17.1mm (w) x 17.1mm (h), pinch pin attached to ribbon, in extremely fine condition. Contained in an official case of issue featuring a red leatherette exterior inscribed GOVERNMENT OF BELIZE with the Coat of Arms on the lid, the interior features a dark blue velvet recessed medalbed with extractable section for sash storage, measures 150mm (w) x 265mm (l) x 60mm (d), minimal wear, in extremely fine condition.
