(Orden Andrés Bello). Instututed in 1965. Insignia in bronze gilt with blue enamels, mounted to a silvered metal eight-pointed star base, each of the star points with five emanating rays, maker marked "RUSSELL UNIFORM CO. NEW YORK" on the reverse, measuring 82 mm (w) x 85.5 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual stays, intact enamels, scattered silvering and gilt wear, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Order of Andrés Bello was instituted in 1965 and awarded for services to the arts, in three grades: Grand Cross, Commander and Knight.
