Likely of French manufacture, in silver, oval centrepiece bearing the Venezuelan coat-of-arms, mounted to an eight-pointed star base, each star point with five faceted rays, measuring 74 mm (w) x 83 mm (h), vertical pinback flanked by dual prongs, light contact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of the Liberator was instituted on September 14, 1880 and awarded for meritorious services to the country and the community. It comes in six grades: Collar, Grand Cordon, Grand Officer, Commander, Officer and Knight.
