In 18K Gold with navy blue and white enamels, handpainted obverse centrepiece, weighing 2.5 grams, unmarked, measuring 20.7 mm (w) x 24 mm (h), fine chipping evident in the navy blue enamels on the reverse centrepiece, otherwise the enamels are intact, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Royal and Military Order of St Ferdinand was instituted on August 31, 1811 and is awarded to members of the armed forces for heroic acts and distinguished services. It may be awarded individually or collectively, in three grades: Grand Cross, Cross of Honour and Military Medal, in addition to a Sovereign's Collar and Grand Master's Collar.
