What's a max bid?

(Real y Muy Distinguida Orden de Carlos III). Instituted by King Charles III on September 19, 1771. In 18K Gold, a lovely Maltese cross with blue and white enamel arms and ball finials, a Gold fleur de lis in each quadrant, the medallion features a hand painted depiction of the Immaculate Conception, surrounded by a blue ovular ring, the reverse with cypher of Charles III with motto VIRTUTI Et MÉRITO in surround, measures 43.2mm (w) x 43.0mm (h), weighs 19.7 grams (including ribbon), missing wreath suspension, worn on replacement ring and replacement ribbon, enamel damage to obverse medallion, in very fine condition.

Contained in its original case of issue, a blue leatherette exterior with the Spanish crest impressed on the lid, the interior with a crème coloured silk lid maker marked M. Cejalvo JOYERIA CRUS 11.MADRID, with a dark blue velvet medal bed in the base, measures 68.5mm (w) x 115.2mm (l) x 29.0mm (d), hinge and catch functional, wear and scuffing to exterior (specifically corners), remains in extremely fine condition.
