Fullsize: in bronze, engraved in running script "James T. Francis" on the reverse, measuring 35.7 mm (w) x 39.7 mm inclusive of its integral laterally-pieced ball suspension, original ribbon with brooch pinback; and Miniature: in bronze, measuring 17.7 mm (w) x 17.7 mm (h), original ribbon with brooch pinback. Extremely fine. Accompanied by their 36 mm (w) x 9.7 mm (h) ribbon bar and their 17.3 mm (w) x 3.7 mm (h) enameled ribbon bar, along with three other ribbon bars (the Army Good Conduct Medal, the American Defense Service Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with Bronze Star) and a War Department Award Card (printed in black ink on a card stock, with the printed signature of Secretary of War Robert P. Patterson, measuring 127 mm (w) x 75 mm (h)), in their hardshelled case of issue, marked "SOLDIER'S MEDAL" on the lid, light scuffing on the bottom, case near extremely fine.
