Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A 1931 Breslau 12th Front Soldiers’ Day Badge
(Soldatentag Abzeichen). Constructed of bronze, perforated with three holes for sew-on attachment, the obverse consisting of a stylized German national eagle overlaid by a crescent bearing an inscription of “XII. R.F.S.T.”, clutching a banner bearing an inscription of “30./31. MAI BRESLAU 1931”, and above a banner bearing an inscription of “3. REICHSFAHRT”, unmarked, measuring 53 mm (w) x 75 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
