Germany, Der Stahlhelm. A Pair of Membership Booklets
(Der Stahlhelm Mitgliedsbücher). A pair of Stahlhelm membership booklets, including one constructed of a dark grey card stock binding with 16 paginated interior pages, named to “ANTON HOLLECK”, who was born on 5 February 1888 and who joined the Stahlhelm in 1931, featuring membership due stamps for the years 1931 through to 1935, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), with tape reinforcement of the spine and material fatigue evident that includes the loss of the bearer’s photo formerly pasted to the inside of the cover, in very fine condition, and; one constructed of a blue-grey card stock binding with 16 paginated interior pages, named to “GERHARD MÜLLER”, who joined the Stahlhelm on 29 December 1924, featuring stamps for membership dues through the 1930s and additions for the Stahlhelm’s evolution into the National Socialist German Front Soldiers Federation - Der Stahlhelm during the Third Reich, retaining a black-and-white photo of the bearer, measuring 90 mm (w) x 150 mm (h), with consistent material fatigue throughout, a booklet to a long-term Stahlhelm member with many entries in very fine condition.
