Includes: (a) two booklets in German entitled "KLEITMANN-NEUBECKER ORDENS-LEXIKON" (Kleitmann-Neubecker Orders Encyclopedia) and subtitled "VERLAG "DIE ORDENS-SAMMLUNG" BERLIN" The Published Orders Collection): Volume 1 describes and illustrates six awards: Saxon Duchies: Saxe-Ernestine House Order, Finland: Order of the White Rose, Latvia (Letland): Order of Viesturs, Egypt: Order of Mohammed Ali, International: Florence Nightingale Medal, and Brandenburg: Cathedral Chapter Order. The cover in grayish-brown card, containing 34 pages, printed in black ink on a thick newsprint stock, with 7 black and white plates interspersed throughout for all orders but the Order of the White Rose, triple-staple bound with a wrap-around cover glued in place, measuring 205 mm (w) x 263 mm (h), with sunning and light moisture damage, the last black and white plate and the back cover having separated from the body of the booklet.
Volume 2 describes and illustrates six awards: Bavaria: Military Max Joseph Order, Albania: Order of the Black Eagle, France: Order of Naval Merit, United Kingdom: Royal Victorian Order, El Salvador: Joseph Matthias Delgado Order, and Russia - Soviet Union: Order of Victory. The cover in grayish-brown card, containing 54 pages, printed in black ink on a thick newsprint stock, with 8 black and white plates interspersed throughout for all orders, triple-staple bound with a wrap-around cover glued in place, measuring 205 mm (w) x 265 mm (h), with soiling evident on the front and back covers. Both publications come clamped in place in a binder, marked "ORDENS-LEXIKON" on the spine, very fine and near extremely fine, respectively; (b) three publications entitled "ARCHIV FÜR ORDENSKUNDE" (Recorder of Orders Reseaches): Number 10, Year 5, issued in December 1955, with information regarding the orders and medals of four countries: Republic of Austria, Denmark, Italy, and Sweden; Number 11, Year 6, issued in December 1956 with information regarding the orders and medals of four countries: Belgian Congo, Great Britain, Republic of Austria, and Prussia; and Number 12, Year 5, issued in December 1955 with information regarding the orders and medals of Italy, Tunisia, Hyderabad (India), along with others. Each publication is in German, with additional text in each of the home countries language, containing 8 pages, printed in black ink on a newsprint stock, dual-staple bound, central horizontal fold, measuring 205 mm (w) x 272 mm (h) each; (c) twenty-one brochures entitled "Ordenskunde" (Order Researches): six issues, numbered 1 to 6, dated 1958; seven issues, numbered 7 to 13, dated 1959; five issues, numbered 14 to 18, dated 1960; three issues, numbered 19 to 21, dated 1963; all are printed in black ink on a white coated paper, in various page lengths, most of which are dual-staple bound, measuring 150 mm (w) x 210 mm (w) each, soiling evident on back cover of number 21); and (d) nine assorted loose publications, measuring 150 mm (w) x 210 mm (each), along with a black white insert illustrating the Third Reich's German Order, all of which are printed in black ink, on various papers stocks. The latter three publications (b, c, d) near extremely fine. All the publications come clamped in place in a binder, marked "ORDENSKUNDE" on the spine.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
