Storia Degli Ordini Cavallereschi: Esistenti, Soppressi ed Estinti Presso Tutte e Nazioni Del Mondo (History of Knightly Orders: Existing, Suppressed and Extinct of All Nations in the World), by Licurgo Cappelletti, published in Livorno in 1904 by Raffaello Giusti, constructed of hardcover, the first page presents a dedication in blue ink stating To Doc Goodwin: As an addition to “our” library and with best wishes to a great collector and a fine friend/ Jim Rich New York Feb 1959, containing 400 pages, including black-and-white illustrations, measuring 14 cm (w) x 19.8 cm (h), presenting mildly soiled exterior, in otherwise near extremely fine condition.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society.
