Germany, Federal Republic. A Lot of Wehrmacht Decorations, 1957 Versions
(Wehrmacht Abzeichen). A lot of four Wehrmacht decorations in 1957 format, including a Panzer Assault Badge, Special Grade for 25 Engagements, constructed of a coppered bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number “25”, with a central Panzer IV rolling over logs and with its left tread extending beyond the wreath, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46.25 mm (w) x 55.20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a Panzer Assault Badge, Special Grade for 50 Engagements, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a plaque bearing a raised number “50”, with a central Panzer IV rolling over logs and with its left tread extending beyond the wreath, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46.84 mm (w) x 55.32 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a German Cross in Gold, constructed of a gilded and silvered bronze alloy with enamels, the obverse consisting of a double-overlaid radiant starburst pattern, with a central silvered disc bearing an Iron Cross, within a gilt laurel wreath wrapped in ribbon and joined at the bottom by a raised number “1941”, the inner and outer edges of the wreathed trimmed with red enameled rings, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 63.77 mm (w) x 63.63 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Gold Grade Wound Badge, constructed of a gilded bronze alloy, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a raised Stahlhelm on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 35.70 mm (w) x 42.94 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
