A medal bar featuring five 1957 version decorations, including an Iron Cross II Class, constructed of a blackened and silvered bronze alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened core within a ribbed frame, the obverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1939”, the reverse six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, unmarked, measuring 43.80 mm (w) x 48.66 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms and crossed swords through the centrepiece, the obverse bearing a central wreathed date of “1939”, unmarked, measuring 46.47 mm (w) x 48.48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of a silvered and patinated bronze alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a laurel branch, the reverse bearing a raised inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), above a crossed sword and laurel branch, unmarked, measuring 35.62 mm (w) x 45.07 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Police Long Service Cross, II Class for 18 Years, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse bearing a raised central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”), within an oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised central number “18”, unmarked, measuring 43.81 mm (w) x 48.18 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Police Long Service Medal, III Class for 8 Years, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised central inscription of “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER POLIZEI” (“FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE POLICE”), the reverse bearing a raised central number “8”, unmarked, measuring 38.53 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; all affixed to a 130 mm-long bronze bar with a horizontal pinback and red wool reverse liner, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
