Ordre du Mérite Commercial. Instituted in 1939. In silver gilt with red, white and blue enamels, dual cornucopia hallmarked on the reverse of the winged suspension, measuring 40.2 mm (w) x 43.5 mm (h) inclusive of its winged suspension, intact enamels, scattered gilt wear, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
Footnote: The Order of Commercial Merit was instituted on May 27, 1939 and awarded for meritorious services to the national economy and foreign trade. It was discontinued on January 1, 1964 and replaced by the National Order of Merit.
