160 pages, measuring 165x231mm, extremely fine condition with light scuffing of the cover. It is dated to 1943/44. The first photo shows A.H. shaking hands with Anton Mussert, the leader of the NSB, and is titled “Germanic ties”. The book begins with a calendar and photos of fallen comrades before the core articles about student life in wartime Netherlands. It ends with an extensive NSB address list.
Footnote: The NSB was the Dutch equivalent of the German NSDAP, the national socialist party. NSB stands for Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging in Nederland, National Socialist Movement in the Netherlands. It was founded in 1931. During the German occupation of the Netherlands the NSB remained the only legal party. (C:166)
