What's a max bid?

Germany, HJ. A Rare Ski Guide’s Badge, by Wittmann

(HJ Ski-Führerabzeichen). A rare HJ Ski Guide’s Badge, constructed of a silvered bronze alloy with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a circular ring bearing an inscription of “HJ SKI FÜHRER”, overlaid by a pair of crossed skis, in turn bearing a finely-detailed edelweiss with an enameled HJ insignia as a centrepiece, the reverse featuring dual horizontal pinbacks consisting of clip hinges with needle-style pins meeting flattened catches, maker marked “WITTMANN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 59.44 mm (w) x 65.96 mm (h), weighing 30.4 grams, with some flecking visible to the enameled HJ insignia along with sporadic loss of silver finish to the reverse and some bending of the reverse catches with has locked the pins in place, a scarce decoration in overall extremely fine condition.
