An extensive medal ribbon bar with thirteen ribbons, consisting of 1) A Prussian Iron Cross 1914 Second Class ribbon, 2) A Hohenzollern House Order ribbon, with miniature crossed swords and crown, 3) A Prussian Order of the Red Eagle ribbon, 4) A Bavarian Order of Merit ribbon, with miniature crossed swords and crown, 5) A Saxon War Merit Cross, 6) An Oldenburg House Merit Order ribbon, 7) A Mecklenburg-Schwerin Order of the Wendish Crown ribbon, 8) A Baden Order of the Zähringer Lion ribbon, with miniature crossed swords, 9) A Württemberg Military Merit Medal, 10) A Hesse-Darmstadt General War Decoration, 11) An Austrian Bravery Medal, 12) An Austrian Marian Cross ribbon, 13) An Unknown ribbon, with miniature crossed swords and crown; the ribbon bar with a zink core, a purple backer, and a horizontal pinback; measuring 194 mm (w) x 18 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.

This offering is a part of the "Dr. Albert Goodwin Collection", a preeminent assemblage of world Orders, Medals, and Decorations composed solely by Dr.Goodwin between 1946-1967. Dr. Goodwin had a successful career as an educator and prominent physician in New York as well as actively serving in both World Wars with the United States Medical Corps. He acted as both President and Vice-President of the Orders and Medals Society of America (OMSA) and is responsible for organizing their first convention in 1960. He maintained further membership with the American Society of Military Collectors, the International Orders Research Society, and the American Numismatic Society. His knowledge and passion for history and awards is evident in this meticulously compiled collection that is now available in its entirety for the first time exclusively on eMedals.com.
